This wallpaper by Farrow & Ball is one of my favorites, it combines both feminine and masculine feeling. It’s a large enough pattern that it could easily be used on one wall with coordinating paint on the other walls or what the heck lets use it all over, its beautiful…. “Aspire to Beautiful Living”
This clients kitchen was dark and outdate however, by painting the kitchen cabinets with a fresh new white, replacing the backsplash and updating the hardware this kitchen not only looks bright and fresh but cost a lot less than redoing the entire kitchen and/or cabinets. For other looks on this kitchen and family room update and design take a look at my Gallery… “Aspire to Beautiful Living”.
So many times when I’m consulting with clients about paint colour they want a neutral and bright colours around their home. However, if anyone knows me I’m a decorator who loves colour and contracts and If I can get clients to do one room with colour it’s usually the powder room.
This is an example of a well decorated mantel. Here are 3 easy steps to make your mantel look amazing…
1. Start with a large decorative mirror.
2. Anchor with 2 large vases which gives it symmetry and balance.
3. Select 3 smaller pieces from your home to place at the bottom.
This designer is not afraid of colour and pattern and that’s what I admire about her space. Could you live in this living room?

Wood floors have been very popular in kitchens for a few years. Using tiles for more durability in the high traffics area is a great way to add pattern and colour to any rooms, especially kitchens.

It might seem overwhelming to most people to select paint for an entire 5 bedroom house however, for me it’s all about asking lots of questions. Getting to know my clients is the most important part of my job and that’s where the INSPIRATION comes from…Below is a picture of wallpaper which will be the main patterns in my clients home. It’s most important for them to have yellow and gold to bring the love of colour and their culture into their environment. I love these 2 patterns together, one in the family room and other one in the hallway.
